Only individuals who meet facility eligibility requirements may receive iCare orders. Facilities may also limit the number of orders allowed during an ordering period.
Who is Eligible to Receive an iCare Order?
- All inmates with the exception of those placed on County-directed “disciplinary restriction”.
- All inmates with the exception of those placed on County-directed “disciplinary restriction”.
- Inmates who have been placed on disciplinary restriction, will not be eligible to receive an iCare order. If a purchase has been made for an inmate that has been placed on restriction for disciplinary reasons, Aramark will work with the appropriate facility staff to determine when the iCare order can be delivered in the future.
- Diabetic/Medical inmates will not be allowed to receive particular packages (such as a Chocolate Lovers package). If you place an order for someone that is unable to accept the iCare package for medical reasons, a credit will be issued to the card holders account.
- Infirmary "A" No Food
Each inmate may receive $140 in iCare packages per week.
- Freshly prepared iCare Fresh orders receive one delivery attempt. If the recipient is unavailable to receive the order at the time of delivery, the meal will be discarded and cannot be refunded.
- If an item becomes unavailable, it may be replaced with a similar item of equal or greater value.
- Some individuals may be ineligible to receive iCare. If your loved one is restricted, you will be notified after selecting their name and will not be able to complete the purchase. For more information about eligibility, please contact the facility.
Pursuant to the Florida Model Jail Standards and HCSO Standard Operating Procedures, any and all inmate personal items, including canteen purchases, must fit inside the HCSO issued bin or bunk drawer. Any items that do not fit in the issued bin or bunk drawer, including canteen purchases, will be considered contraband and disposed of.
